Feb 16 menu

 Orange marmalade muffins (no frosting)

Dinner:

Pasta with asparagus and peas - I used medium shells.


Mon:

Burgers

Potatoes


Tues:

Fluffy buckwheat chia pancakes - I wouldn't call these fluffy.

Hashbrowns

Breakfast sausage

Fruit


Wed:

Grilled Ham and Cheddar        

Tomato soup

Spinach salad


Thurs:

Vegetarian Pad Thai - just ok. I've had better


Fri:

Leftovers and stuff


Sat:

Teriyaki chicken pizza

Feb 9 menu

 Breakfast:  

Easy energy balls - I did 1/2 the honey, still plenty sweet and sticky.  dd though it was too much peanut butter. 


Lunch:

Lemon blueberry muffins


Dinner:

Sun:

Mongolian meatballs  -I decreased soy sauce and sugar by 1/2, and added 1/4 cup water

Brown rice

Vegetable pakora - these were ok. I felt like these were a little easier to cook than similar recipes I've made.


Mon:

Instant pot leek mashed potatoes - lacked flavor as written.

Ham

Roasted asparagus


Tues:

Air frier falafel - best falafel I've made. I tried both oven and air frier with similar results. These were very dry in mouth feel.

Naan

Lettuce & cucumber

Garlic lemon yogurt sauce 

Sweet potato fries


Wed:

Chicken enchiladas

Jicama & mango

Corn or spanish rice


Thurs:

Spaghetti

Salad


Fri:

Home pizza

No bake (vegan) raspberry cheesecake - Family rating out of 10: (8, 8, 6, -5). Most thought it was pretty good, one hated it. 


Sat:

Taco spaghetti squash boats - I used to make a similar recipe that was better, that recipe disappeared so I don't know why it was better.

Feb 2 Menu

This weeks menu was planned by Hazel

Chocolate cherry protein shake 


Lunch:

Blueberry cream cheese muffins - Ms. H liked these a lot


Dinner:

Taco monkey bread- it was ok. they wouldn’t make it again.


Mon:

Potato wedges


Tues:

Baked orange chicken - family rated 5+.  Double the sauce

Broccoli


Wed: 

Turkey Chili

Jan 23 menu

My 16 year old planned this weeks menu.


 Breakfast:  

Snickerdoodle overnight oats - too much cinnamon, otherwise ok


No bake energy balls


Lunch:


Cranberry streusel muffins - was told these were the best muffins i've ever made


Wow Butter & Jelly sandwich


Bagel


one of the above with:
Cheese & salami
Fruit
Pea pods
Popcorn or chips
Apple sauce

Snack:

Hazelnut date cake - I made it because I currently can't eat wheat, cane sugar, or yeast, and I wanted something bready. Considering it doesn't contain any of those things, it's not bad... not good either.

Grilled veggie sandwich  


Mon:

 Veggie Korma

 Naan bread


Tues:

Baked chicken nuggets - we used to call this corn flake chicken.
