Sept 23 Menu #307

Breakfast: 
Pancakes, fruit, sausage, juice
Pumpkin donut holes, peaches
Bagel w/peanut butter, applesauce
Citrus Paradise Smoothie***
Omlet, yogurt, oranges

***This is a recipe my daughter created
15 fresh strawberries
2 fresh clementine oranges (or 1/2 cup canned)
1/2 milk
Approx 1 cup ice
1 tsp sugar
4 drops of lemon or orange edible essential oil

Throw all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

Lunch:
Diner roll, pik-nik, applesauce, grapes
Pumpkin muffins, chips, applesauce, juice, grapes
Mini corn dogs, corn, oranges, canned pineapple
French toast sticks, yogurt, grapes, canned peaches
Salami, crackers, pringles, applesauce, juice, grapes
Cheese pizza, apple, canned pears
Smoothie, jello, applesauce, canned oranges (day 2 with braces)

Snacks:
yogurt
Pumpkin spice almonds
Go-gurts, banana, mini-muffins

Dinner:  
         Rice
         Pomegranate 

Mon: Lasagna 
         Side salad
         Grapes
         Garlic Bread
         Birthday Apple rhubarb crumb pie  


Wed:  Oven roasted potatoes
          Coucous
          Turkey burgers
          Pickles

Thurs: Tomato Soup
            Cheese sandwich

Fri: Pizza

Sat:  Salad
        Corn bread

Breakfast: 
Donut
Pumpkin pancakes
Yogurt parfait 
Smoothies
Pop tart, yogurt

Lunch:
Garlic bread, apple, oranges, pears
Omelet w/pancakes, jicama, peaches, apple slices
Hot dog, cantaloup, pineapple & mandarin
Salami, crackers, mango
Cheesy french bread w/ marinara, apples, peaches
Pumpkin Muffin, apple sauce, cheese Pringles, yogurt, canned oranges

Snacks:
pretzels
Cheese sticks, yogurt
Banana, meat sticks,  nuts
Applesauce, dried oranges
Vegan Chex Mix (mine wasn't vegan because I used butter)
Apples

Dinner:  
Sun: Salad day
        Sourdough bread

Mon:  Spaghetti & meatballs
          Salad

           Watermelon
          
Wed:  Pancakes tacos*
           Breakfast sausage
           Hashbrowns

*Used this resipe for inspiration rainbow-pancake-tacos, but did pumpkin pancakes instead.

Thurs:  Chili
            Potato wedges


Sat: Chicken nuggets
        Corn
        Watermelon

Sept 9 Menu #305

Breakfast: 
Danish, apple
Berry Smoothie
Oatmeal, apples
Pancakes
*I didn't really like these.  They are a lot more like oatmeal than muffins.

Lunch:
Pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon, chips, cookie
Salami, mac&cheese, mango, oranges, strawberries
pizza pretzel w/sauce,  oranges, chips, raspberries
chili, bell pepper, oranges, strawberries
cinnamon pretzel, pringles, apple, 1 cucumber slice & carrots, strawberries, oranges
hot dog, bun, chips, , grapes, slushy, applesauce

Snacks:
Fruit: apple, pear, grapes, blackberries, orange, applesauce
Yogurt
Cookie dough hummus , graham crackers

Dinner:  
Sun:  Tater tot hotdish
          Grapes
          Fruit
*I was skeptical of beets on a sandwich with tomato and hummus but I really liked it.
          
           Garlic bread
*The Parmesan is odd in this recipe because it doesn't melt evenly.  It clumped together on a few noodles.  I would suggested not melting it and just putting it on top.

*This was good.  We thought it would be good with black beans instead of turkey too.

            Eat out

Mac&cheese, pears
McDonalds last day of summer vacation
Omlet, pancake, orange slices, cinnamon apples 
Corn Dog, banana, pears
Cheese bread dunker, apple slices, peaches
Pizza pretzel, pizza sauce, apple sauce, carrots, oranges

Snacks:
Crackers with cream cheese & pepper jelly
Ice cream
Pumpkin pretzel**, pears, apples
Apple sauce, clementines 

**daughter that requested these didn't like them

Dinner:  
Sun:  Sloppy Joes - good flavor but runny and I only added half the water.
         Cauliflower tots
         Apples

          Mixed fruit

Tues:  Salmon
           Vinegary coleslaw
            Corn
           Rice

Wed:  Grilled cheese sandwich 
          Tomato soup
          Pickles

            Garlic bread
            
Fri:  Pizza

Sat:    Frittata**
           Toast
           Peaches
          Fingerling potatoes
          ** I skipped the butter and used about 3/4 cup cheese

April 12th menu

  Breakfast:    Cranberry orange muffin Banana bread Apple cinnamon swirl bread  - used decreased both sugars to 1/4 cup each.  B thought...
