This is the first time I made pirogies from scratch.  I went with a Ukrainian version because that's what my grandma made.  They weren't that hard to make but very time consuming.

Dec 4th Menu #213

Ben (6) planned most of this weeks menu.

Breakfast:
cereal
Whole Grain Waffles

Lunch:
Summer sausage, crackers, mangos
Bagels, raspberries, 

Dinner:
Sun:  slow cooker beef broccoli  (I used beef broth instead of bouillon & water) My 8 yr old said she liked this dinner.
         Oranges

Mon:  Polka-dot Oven Pancakes Choc chips & Raspberry
          Breakfast sausage
          Fizzy fruit salad (canned peaches, canned pineapple, green grapes, coconut, banana.  add ginger ale just before serving) - kids loved this salad

Tues:  Build your own sandwich bar 
           Zoo Cage Salad (see photo below) - it's two orange slices, banana, coconut and chocolate chips.  Use cream cheese as glue to get everything to stick to the banana.

Wed:  Bean burritos 

Thurs:  Homemade pizza 
            
Fri:  Chili
       corn bread

Sat:  Culvers after caroling

I know Thanksgiving was last week.  I always post my menus one week late.  I do this because otherwise I never had them done on time and so I let you know if something is gross or something.

Ham & cheese sandwich, apple, salad
crackers, cheese, summer sausage, oranges

Sun:   Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, pumpkin pie

Mon:   Papa Murphy’s Pizza & Salad
          
Tues:   Spinach Pasta

Sorry this is late.  I was out of town for an early Thanksgiving.

Noodles w/meatballs, grapes
Raisin bread, berries, pudding

Cereal, oranges, yogurt

Snack:
Oreo protein shake (this wasn't that good.  I wouldn't recommend it)

Dinner:
Sun:   Orange Beef (I skipped the frying and just sauteed)

Mon:   Grilled turkey & cheese sandwich
            Tomato Soup
            Apple slices 

Tues:   Salad

Wed:   Honey Lime Chicken (baked in the oven on a sheet pan)

Thur:  Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

Ritz, pepperoni, string cheese, blueberries, yogurt raisins, chocolate chips

Snack:
Fruit Cup Cones - Use ice cream cones instead of bowls to hold cut-up fruit. Add yogurt beneath the fruit or place a dollop of it on top to mimic the look of whipped cream
